Turn left at the footpath junction in Gower Hey Woods and you come to this area of swampy ground.
Fortunately duckboards have been laid across it leading to steps that will bring you out on the TransPennine Trail.
Back in April, the swamp was full of buttercups.
We used to have some good times when we were kids in the swampy ground!
